Chaperone Policy

Under the chaperone policy, all park guests who are ages 15 years old or younger must be accompanied by a chaperone who is at least 21 years old to be admitted to, or remain in, the park after 4:00 p.m. local time to close.

  • The chaperone must present a valid government-issued photo identification with date of birth at ticket entry.
  • One (1) chaperone may accompany no more than ten (10) guests ages 15 or younger per day.
  • In addition, the chaperone must accompany their party during entry, remain inside the park during their visit, and be available by phone throughout their stay.

Guests ages 15 years old or younger who are found inside the park unaccompanied by a chaperone will be subject to ejection.

Six Flags Over Georgia is dedicated to creating an enjoyable experience for all visitors. In response to increasing concerns about guest safety, the park has introduced a Chaperone Policy that began July 26, 2024.

  • Guest Requirements:

    All guests aged 15 and under must be accompanied by a chaperone aged 21 or older to enter or remain in the park.

  • Operational Hours:

    The policy will take effect daily at 4:00 p.m. local time, with the right to enforce it earlier on select days.

  • Chaperone Guidelines:

    Each chaperone must present a valid ID and can supervise no more than ten guests. They are required to stay with their group for the duration of their visit and be accessible by phone.

For guests aged 16 and older, valid identification may be requested at entry to confirm age. Unaccompanied guests aged 15 and younger found in the park during the policy's enforcement will face ejection. This policy is applicable to all visitors, including those with tickets or season passes.
